During the Nov. 19 event, which celebrated the arrival of the 2009 Beaujolais Nouveau wine to Colorado, Farraddays’ was awarded the people’s choice awards for best entrée and best dessert.

Approximately 700 people attended the event at Mile High Station, where Farraddays’ Chef dé Cuisine David Oliveri (pictured) and Leslie Dotson, ACF culinary apprentice, were presented with their people’s choice awards. Oliveri created the prize winning entrée, USDA prime grade N.Y. strip with Farraddays’ steak seasoning over huckleberry demi-glaze, potatoes au gratin and micro greens; Dotson created the delicious dessert, crème brûlée cake with huckleberry syrup.
